Book Event and Demo, Upland, CA, Saturday, September 5

Author event for the paperback edition of Myth and Identity in the Martial Arts will take place at Defense Arts Center in Upland, California, on Saturday, September 5. I will be giving a lecture presenting an overview of the book, showing some clips from our “Three Black Belts” YouTube channel, having a Q&A session, and signing books, which will be available for purchase on site. I also plan to have a Taekwondo demo, focusing on the shared forms, techniques, and family resemblances between Taekwondo and Shotokan Karate. Hope to see you there!
